Since I failed to do this countdown day by day, you get hour by hour! I know, you can hate me now.
Anyways, I came up with a list of things to highlight my 2011 starting off with Favorite Wedding of 2011!
2011 seemed to be the year of weddings and I’m a little biased with this selection I admit, but I had so much fun at my old friend Jana’s wedding. Not that everyone else’s wasn’t just as special, but considering I’ve known Jana for a little over 10 years and was there at the beginning of her relationship with her now husband, I was little more emotionally attached than the others. There’s nothing like watching one of your good friends marry the love of their life and get their happy ending that they’ve always deserved. Nothing beats being getting a little tipsay with awesome friends to celebrate either.
Honorable mentions: Rachel Villarreal Bloom’s wedding! Even though I missed the ceremony cause she lives so freakin far and I get lost everywhere I go, the reception was beautiful! Not really used to small and laid back weddings but her’s was so simply elegant, it was perfect for her and Reuben. I met Rachel through the Rockets and my life hasn’t been the same ever since. Good or bad thing? Still deciding….just kidding, of course! So grateful to have been invited and witnessed her special day.
